Spyglass Hill Rock Topple/Landslide

Treadwell & Rollo, assisted by Gilpin Geosciences, Inc., performed geotechnical and geological assessment and consultation for a landslide at the Spyglass Hill Condominium complex. Our services included a geologic assessment of the rock slope, and recommendations for the permanent lateral support of the adjacent rock slope. We also provided recommendations for reducing surface water infiltration, roadway closure, debris catchment/fence construction, and monitoring movement of the slope.

Our engineers also reviewed plans and, during construction, we observed the installation of the retention system components. In addition, we checked the condition of the soil and rock, as well as providing recommendations for fill placement and compaction.
