Chico Contaminated Groundwater Plume

Treadwell & Rollo provided litigation support services in a case regarding the Central and Southwest Plumes, areas of groundwater contaminated with tetrachloroethene and its degradation by-products.  The case involved numerous parties and the California Department of Toxic Substances Control.

Our services included data review, identification of data gaps, development of a chronology of events related to investigation and remediation.  We also provided review and plot of concentration changes over time, compilation and plotting of well installation and construction.  In addition, our engineers calculated PCE capture over time under varying pumping conditions at wells, and conducted three-dimensional numeric groundwater flow modeling.
