Contra Costa Waste Service Landfill

Treadwell & Rollo provided monitoring, remedial planning, and design of landfill closure services for this Superfund Landfill site.  This work included a Water Quality Sampling and Analysis Plan, groundwater monitoring and reporting, and third-party oversight of a consultant monitoring program.  As part of our litigation support, we also provided historical monitoring events and comprehensive analytical database, as well as hydrogeologic modeling and evaluation of a contaminant groundwater plume using 3D visualization techniques. 

Our engineers also provided decision analysis modeling and design for potential remedial solutions, risks and cost effectiveness analysis, compliance documents for Containment Zone Application, as well as storm and surface water sampling programs.  Other services included final closure management, landfill gas system monitoring, Authority to Construct documents, and evaluation of soil and wastewater disposal options.  Our team also provided preparation of SWPPP, observation and documentation of other PRP investigation efforts, and additional source area investigations.
