Based in our Sacramento office, Haze has over seven years of professional experience managing, developing, and performing geotechnical studies including explorations, analyses, and construction observation services for various projects throughout California. His project experience includes 1) commercial, retail, and residential developments, 2) schools and hospitals, 3) bridges and roadways, 4) Brownfield re-developments, 5) offshore marine structures, 6) landslide stabilizations, 7) development and construction on landfills, and 8) expert witness, forensic studies, and litigation support.
Haze has performed engineering analyses to evaluate soil structure interaction of shoring systems due to earthquake ground motions, settlement behavior of soil under various loads (fills, earthquake, and building); bearing capacity for shallow foundations and embankments; lateral and vertical pile capacity; slope stability and seismic hazards including liquefaction, lateral spreading, cyclic compression, and settlement potential.
His most recent experience includes managing the San Francisco General Hospital Rebuild and Brentwood Civic Center projects. Additionally, Haze is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
