With over 11 years of experience with the firm's geotechnical group, she has benefited from working closely with the firm's principals and senior staff, who have gone beyond the engineering, and have taught her the importance of communicating effectively with clients and resolving issues quickly as they arise.
Serena has performed construction observation and subsurface investigation services for a number of projects in the San Francisco Bay Area including the 303-acre Mission Bay development. Her extensive experience in Mission Bay includes buildings supported on pile foundations, as well as new roadways and infrastructure. Additionally, Serena has experience in managing field projects and performing different types of geotechnical engineering analyses including settlement, foundation design, and slope stability computations.
