Dean thrives in the family atmosphere that Frank L. Rollo fosters at Treadwell & Rollo. In particular, he enjoys "the fun, respect, loyalty, challenges and high expectations that I typically associate with my own family."
Dean provides geotechnical investigation, design, consultation and construction observation services. His projects include everything from laboratories, industrial and residential buildings to bridge foundations and approaches, land and marina developments, and the seismic upgrade and repair of earthquake-damaged buildings.
He has managed geotechnical investigations for high-rise buildings, schools, roadways, landfills as well as numerous historic facilities. Some of the investigations that Dean has performed took place in areas with complex subsurface conditions, such as soft bay deposits, potentially liquefiable soils, municipal landfills and unstable slopes.
